Randstad has presented the Employer Brand of the Year awards for the 22nd time. Mediahuis achieved a well-deserved third place. Randstad’s annual study examines the quality of the employer brands of the largest Belgian companies. Also this year Randstad, in collaboration with Kantar, collected the opinion of 12,685 respondents (students, employees, job seekers, housemen and women, …) between 18 and 65 years.

A strong employer brand attracts potential employees more easily and can also retain them for longer. A strong employer brand also has a positive influence on employee engagement. The Randstad study shows that the most important criteria that determine the choice of an employer are wages and benefits, working atmosphere, job security and work-life balance. The media sector is the third most attractive sector, after pharmaceuticals and aviation.

Mediahuis has been in the top 10 of most attractive Belgian employers for several years now. In 2020, we achieved second place. In 2021 we finished in ninth place and then in 2022 we ended up in the top three again.
